My commitment to Orangeville
Discover the many ways I've dedicated my time and energy to making Orangeville a better place for everyone. My passion for our community drives my every action.

Engaged in our community
I have proudly served our community in many capacities, from coaching for 12 years, Scouts Canada Leader to school councils member. I've volunteered at local events with both the Lions Club and Rotary Club, and coordinated the PEPS community garden to grow food with the students and for the Orangeville food bank. My involvement extends to being a convenor and referee scheduler with Storm FC, participating in various community clean-up initiatives, and donating time to support business start-ups. I'm also a landlord and 5-star Airbnb host, as well as a small business owner, all within Orangeville.

Passion for thriving programs
Watching valuable programs succeed and thrive is why I dedicate myself to community involvement. I want to ensure that the amazing programs we offer in Orangeville continue to be successful for years to come. I often spend more time in my volunteer capacity than in my own job because serving the public and seeing my ideas grow in ways that better serve our community are what truly drive me.

Improving communication and engagement
I believe we need to provide better overall communication to our residents. We need more avenues to receive feedback and clearer communication about the events we host, sharing the opportunities these events can provide and how people can get more involved. Additionally, we have an amazing arena and theatre that are currently underutilized. I think we should be exploring ways to have them bring in more revenue for the town, enhancing our community's vibrancy and resources.
